The cell strain TIG-3, which was established in our institute,
shows
the finite life span up to 70-80 population doubling levels (PDLs). The
cell strain has been widely used for researches on molecular mechanisms
of replicative cell aging and
immortalization. The preparation of our 2-D gel-based proteome database
was
intended for promoting proteomic researches on cellular aging. (Toda T,
